Siân is a sustainability and communications specialist, her favourite question is ‘How can we do this better?’
Siân’s work focuses on developing and implementing impactful and integrated initiatives that help people understand sustainability issues and their part in the action that needs to take place. Dedicated to developing solutions that are practical, resilient and future-focused, she helps businesses understand the opportunities that embedding sustainability can realise. She has a particular interest in the crucial role that communications play in identifying and setting ambitions and motivating and creating the progress that will future-proof businesses and build a sustainable society.
Siân joined Sancroft in 2022 following five years in Hong Kong and Singapore, where she helped leading companies articulate and engage stakeholders with their sustainability ambitions. Her diverse portfolio covered purpose, strategy and framework development, research and stakeholder engagement, messaging and content, and workshop and training facilitation. Before moving to Asia, Siân worked in-house at BT, promoting the power of communications to make a better world to colleagues internally and to professional organisations, industry bodies and media around the world.
Based in London, Siân is a regular assessor for the Cambridge Institute of Sustainability Leadership’s Communicating for Influence and Impact course. Prior to focusing on sustainability, Siân managed heritage and information programmes at the British Red Cross, Guardian News & Media and BT.
